Carlos Gallastegui: Spying On PPC Advertising and SEO Competition = Major Competitive Advantage

Brisbane,QLD (PRWEB) May 05, 2012

Pay per click Advertising has become one of the marketing world’s most powerful weapons, as Covario recently revealed PPC advertising is growing rapidly around the world led by Google adwords.

Given the rise of Adwords and Bing pay per click advertising, the stakes for running successful campaigns have risen and gaining a competitive advantage has become harder. That’s why Simon Hodgkinson says “the Reverse Engineer Pro Reports Launch has provided a major opportunity for Keyword Research Analysis to be performed from a much stronger position”.

Pay per Click advertising revolves around targeting keywords and phrases and running adverts in the search network of Google and Bing alongside those phrases. The internet operates on a much wider range than a thesaurus because people are typing in misspellings, misunderstandings, making up their own words and combinations of words, slang and new words that appear in common speech so when you add all those categories to the more dilligent who consider their search terms more deeply, you’ve got a lot of words and phrases floating around the internet. In fact Google say that every year 20% of phrases used are brand new ie never been typed in before, so keyword research is vital to filter the good phrases from the bad.

So amongst this chaotic landscape how do you decide what phrases to use and advertise against? “Well the Reverse Engineer Pro reports give you a complete overview on the phrases your competitors are advertising on so that you can start or edit a campaign knowing what they are doing and either copying them or at least learning of differences between your campaign and theirs so that you may make adjustments or test new phrases”,says Hodgkinson.

Hodgkinson continues ?Understanding the angles that your competitors are using and the priority they are giving to certain phrases gives you the headsup that they are working for them. For example we recently had a realtor client and he reversed his local competition to find 2 of his competitors were running campaigns around the yachting niche in his city and bidding some phrases up into double digits, he joined the band wagon and found that this traffic was converting really well. I don’t know how else he would have found this goldmine.?

Hodgkinson’s history has been largely centred around running his own ppc campaigns and the Reverse Engineer Pro Reports were simply born from a thirst to spy on his competitor’s campaigns. He says ?Over the years I have been using the reports for my own purposes I have uncovered lots of very cheap ppc opportunities as well as found new niches to advertise my products to, it really is a massive advantage to know who is doing what.?

The Reverse Engineer pro reports are offered in packs of 1,3 and 10 competitors and start from $ 47.

Carlos Gallastegui: Vanessa Juarez Named New Art Curator of theatre7 in Las Vegas

Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) September 28, 2011

For the first six month of theatre7′s existence, Darryl Martin has done double duty as both artist and curator of the art gallery at 1406 South 3rd Street, Las Vegas, NV 89104 in the downtown Arts District. But the quick success of theatre7 has made it too hard for him to do both and after an extensive search, Martin is happy to announce Vanessa Juarez as theatre7′s new art curator.

“I am so impressed with Vanessa,” Martin said. “I think we found the perfect person for the gallery. She brings with her a diverse background in art history from Peru to New York and now she is adding Las Vegas to her resume.?

Juarez, a recent transplant from New Jersey, is also coming off of helping to coordinate the Fiesta Las Vegas Latino Parade & Festival. A board member, Juarez served as curator and organizer of the Latin American Art Exhibit at the event. She is also currently helping to prepare a show for the Hispanic Museum of Nevada’s 20th anniversary gala.

“Community and innovation are my strengths,” Juarez said. “I have a passion for the arts and culture, but I also have passion for people and helping to expose them to new things.”

Juarez has a Bachelor of Arts in art history from Montclair State University in Montclair, N.J. She also has been certified in the Art of the Incas by the National History Museum of Archeology and Anthropology in Lima, Peru. She also has experience at the Signature Gallery in the Venetian.

Prior to coming to Las Vegas, she founded a program at the Rubin Museum of Art in New York called ?Working Together.? The program was designed as an outreach for first-time museum-goers. It started as a strategy for Hispanic audiences, but was soon extended into a program to reach other minorities as well.

“In these hard economic times with schools cutting funding for art programs, galleries and museums are as important now as they ever have been,” Juarez said. ?Galleries can help share and preserve culture, help educate and overall they can enrich what is being taught in the classroom.”

Located near the “Downtown Las Vegas” sign, theatre7 opened its doors in March. The artlover’s and indie film fan’s paradise is owned by filmmaker Derek Stonebarger and screens independent films, doubles as an art gallery and hosts live theatre performances.

Currently, a stage production of Joseph Scrimshaw?s Adventures in Mating by Poor Richard?s Players can be seen there. The show is scheduled to run until October 2. The second annual underground film festival PollyGrind will then highlight October?s programming.

“I love theatre7,” Juarez said. “It’s so different and it brings so much energy to the downtown area. It’s a place that is open to try new things and isn’t scared of challenges. It’s a great place that is open and accepting of all art and the various communities. I’m very happy to be a part of it.”

Martin said the feeling is mutual.

“She’s a go-getter,” Martin said. “She doesn’t wait for things to come to her; she makes them happen. I really see it as a perfect fit.”

A painter all his life, Martin has lived in Nevada since 1968 and has been a Boulder City resident since 1992. His specialties are expressionist style oil paintings and fine art giclees.

Currently, Martin and Juarez are preparing for theatre7′s next free First Friday art event, which will be October 7 and starts at 7 p.m.

Aside from Martin’s work, the gallery will be showing photographs by internationally exhibited and published art photographer Sita Mae of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Alan Goya of Boulder City, who has had images reproduced in Better Homes and Garden, Sunset Magazine and many others. Martin will be performing a live painting at the event.

Recent Nevada artists featured at theatre7 were Lynne Jordan and Kelly Haugh.

Ironically, Stonebarger’s film I.M. Caravaggio, which inspired him to open theatre7, is what first made Juarez fall in love with the venue.

“I’ve seen a lot of films about Caravaggio, so I wasn’t really sure what I was going to see,” said Juarez of the award-winning film that depicts a character reincarnated as Caravaggio in modern day Las Vegas. “I thought it might be another biography on him. But it blew away all my expectations. It’s already difficult to depict the life of Caravaggio, but tell his story through somebody else in a different place in a different time; it was amazing. It really impressed me.”

Carlos Gallastegui: AUNE Research Will Help Tell the Story of a Devastating Alaskan Volcano

If you like this article please brows Carlos Gallastegui website for more interesting stories. In addition, please visit Carlos Gallastegui blog for more information!

(PRWEB) August 29, 2011

Jim Jordan is trying to piece together a story that began more than 3,400 years ago, when Alaska?s Aniakchak volcano catastrophically erupted.

Jordan, a core faculty member in the Department of Environmental Studies at Antioch University New England (AUNE), says layers of ash deposited by the volcano could reveal the answers to many questions.

Exploring an ancient disaster

Just back from Aniakchak National Monument and Preserve to launch a two-year field study with collaborators from the National Park Service (NPS), Jordan will return next summer to dig through ash layers in the coastal and lowland areas, forty to sixty miles from the volcano. He’ll search primarily for evidence of how the landscape responded to this eruption, specifically how soon salmon streams might have recovered, which would have attracted people. Students from AUNE and other schools will help him investigate geological and archeological evidence for clues to the story.

Perhaps because the Aniakchak eruption was so violent, humans and other biota may not have returned to the area for another 1,000 to 1,500 years. At a minimum, this event profoundly affected the ecology and geology of the region. How did the eruption affect the succession of plants, animals and people who inhabited the Aniakchak area? How did the ecosystem recover from this cataclysm? Did biota move away permanently or did they evolve adaptive strategies different from those previously observed?

?Why did it take so long for people to resettle there?? Jordan asked.

This is Jordan?s specialty?studying the processes of landscape disturbance during the time period since the last glaciers melted, about 12,000 years ago. He researches how natural systems respond to cataclysms like fires, floods, earthquakes and volcanoes. ?Because of the size of Alaska, this kind of research has barely been touched,? Jordan said. The Aniakchak area is particularly rich in possibilities. It?s one of ten major volcanic centers on the Alaska Peninsula, a section of the volatile Pacific Ring of Fire, one of the world?s most active seismic regions.

Relevant today

The study results will have application in the modern world. ?We can use historical data to help us understand rates and magnitudes of disturbance and to develop contingency plans to deal with potential hazards and with the vulnerability of people and ecosystems in areas like these,? Jordan said. Remember Mount St. Helens? ?For a good decade after that eruption [in 1980] everyone understood the consequences of developing in active volcanic areas,? he said. ?But over time, people have kind of forgotten. We have not seen a slowing of development of these areas. Urban areas like Seattle are so driven by the need for economic growth that they run the risk of ineffective environmental planning for geologic hazards.?

AUNE is collaborating on the project with the Cultural Resource Management Division of the National Park Service through a Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit network agreement, a national consortium of federal agencies, academic institutions and other partners. NPS will use the research in its management, interpretation and education.
